Now more than ever, I notice that people are reviewing their budget - getting nervous, pulling money out of the bank to have cash on hand (just in case). They're running out and purchasing a lot of goods from the grocery store.. and alot of water. My husband is definitely on the buying lots of water kick.. we have a 5 gallon water dispenser, but couldn't buy extra water bottles because they were sold out last weekend. We mostly use water for coffee and drinking (me, he's not a big water drinker)..but boy daily he wants to buy more water.. maybe that's his 'fidget' thing.. to each his own..
For me, it's maintaining a budget to pay the sitters - next weeks schedule might be slightly different, and husband might have to stay home more, but this week we have to pay out $235 for sitters, that IS more than half of my pay (and because I'm a paycheck budgeter - i budget everytime I get paid), there's not much left after that expense and my automatic savings #sinkingfunds ($25 Emergency fund, $25 Household, $10 Xmas 20 & $5 Investment).
Keep the faith people.. "this too shall pass"..
No time like the present to get on the budget method - #thebudgetmom has a great few blogs that came out this week with free trackers.. even if it takes you a few months to really get involved with your own budget - start tracking now.. in this 'crisis' situation see how much money you really are spending on groceries/water and the like. Keep track!
thanks for reading! :)
