Cash Envelopes..

New month (February, already!) .. new envelopes!

When I started budgeting with #thebudgetmom method and using cash envelopes, I bought some of her sturdy, cool envelopes from her shop (I know I could've just made my own), buy hey if that's what it takes for me to save $$ in them.. there you have it. But also they're sturdy and lasted a few months.. I would notice on the facebook groups that people change out their envelopes monthly.. I didn't understand why... if my envelopes are in good shape, why would I need to change them (of course if it's because their all ripped and have a lot of deductions written all over them, I would change them out).

Then I noticed that #tbm , the budget mom would offer new ones monthly that you can print at home.. and sometimes she sends a nice surprise out on instagram or facebook & you can get like all 6 designs for $1.99. So, I've been changing out my envelopes monthly.. and I LOVE February's designs from #thebudgetmom - they're all valentine and not just 'pinky' but pretty colors (check out the picture).. and if you're thinking you want to use cash envelopes.. then run over to thebudgetmom.com & buy yourself some pretty envelopes for $1.99, you'll get the email to download to you..and then print to your hearts desire! (get it, hearts??) CHEESY.. :)

My goal for February will be updated in the next few days for my financial journey.. I'm going to try something a little different.. probably going to be just a little harder.. but tweaking, reviewing and implementing.. I know I can do it!

And I got a Plum Paper, size A5 Goal Setting book.. just got it yesterday.. And where has #plumpaper been all my life.. I love that you can personalize it... so go to my youtube page & check out the video.. please subscribe as well :) Great videos on meal planning, planning, budgeting and now goal setting..

Thanks for reading! P.S. Don't think you have to 'buy' envelopes to save cash or do the cash method for saving/paying for things.. you can use white envelopes and decorate them yourselves.. remember, everything we do in LIFE..is for US.. This is YOUR journey.. don't compare yourself to others & do what you can, for YOU.
