Hi, everyone! I did an "Aldi Haul" video when we got back with our groceries on Saturday - catch it on my YouTube Channel (Get Personal with Pattie) or on Facebook, (Get Personal with Pattie). It was my first, with more to come.. other than being interrupted a few times (because everyone seemed to be calling while I was videotaping), it was fun! And it gives me a good opportunity to put my thoughts of my planned meal plans for the week in the video with what I actually purchased.

I know not everyone likes doing meal planning - but for me & this new #thebudgetmom concept, it has certainly helped me not to overspend on groceries, while having stock in the house so we can eat pantry/freezer first.

So, this week's meals include:

Sunday - Chicken Tortilla Soup (enough for lunch 2 days & 1 evening leftover) (Pinterest recipe)

Monday - Italian Sausage (that we have in the freezer from a specialty italian market), with garlic & peppers over pasta

Tuesday - Leftover Tortilla Soup (i have a night meeting, so easier)

Wednesday - Sweet Potatoe & Black Bean Casserole (also from pinterest)

Thursday - Bratwurst on the grill with Salad

Friday - Fish

Saturday - eat out

Leftover from the grocery haul will be tortilla's for tacos next week, chicken broth for future soup making.. but I'm already planning next week.. (WIP - work in progress)

Have a good week!
