Happy Birthday Vevo!

This time of year makes you feel so many different emotions - and being in a pandemic where it's hard for many to get used to the 'new normal' is probably harder on our emotions.. My mom and dad have passed and I really still miss them.. definitely daily, but when I think and see other grandparents spending time, playing with and just being around their grandchildren, it definitely hits me harder that I can't take 'Grace' to see Avo & Vevo. Today is Vevo's birthday.. you know Grace and I will be (and have) singing to vevo! At the end, cancer took him.. and he was so sad when he found out he wouldn't see Grace grow up.. i remember that day as if it was yesterday. I'm hopeful that he is in peace and loving on Maxwell! Happy Birthday Vevo!

I do have alot of memories with my dad and Grace & that's what I show her.. she was little but she is smart and I know she remembers him. I wish he was here to see how she's changed.. I know, I know.. HE does see her but it's not the same.

Today we wish Vevo a happy birthday! and are thankful for the people in Grace's life 'who make up for' no grandparents in the area.. Serena's Gram.. Callie's Dad & Dog.. :)
