Happy November..

Thanksgiving blessings to all.. as we start the new #grateful season - let's remember there is alot to be thankful for! The every day learning of hearing my non-verbal daughter complete a full sentence is just one of the everyday things I'm grateful for. The other day we had a conversation that she wanted me to put my hair up (it was down) and I said I didn't want it up.. after a few attempts at getting me to put my hair up, she took her own scrunchie out & handed it to me! OK, then! Did I ever tell you she is very demanding and what she wants, she wants right then and there!

Halloween was fun this year - it was the first time as she giggled up the stairs to people's doors, she said "hi" when they answered. Hey, it's not trick or treat.. but "HI" is sufficient!

She was a cup o noodles the actual night (of course, this years' theme) and then a few days before she was a nun (whoopi goldberg from Sister act). Grace has also been obsessed recently with my budget books, so I just ordered her one.. with 3 starting envelopes, she'll be saving along with me! It should be exciting!! (start them off young!)

As far as spending and budgeting, October was a great month.. we are staying on track and not spending much. And with my side hustles, I'm making some extra income and trying to save, spend a little (stickers!) and on Grace of course.. it's all about that balance. I really want November to be a NO spend November.. except black friday..

speaking of which.. GET THAT HOLIDAY BUDGET figured out now! Grant it, I have a small circle to buy for.. but I'm already thinking about it and as we head out to NY for Thanksgiving, I have my black friday deals in mind. I've gotten a few bigger gifts in the past few years for a significant other and they haven't been used yet (insert eye roll) .. so this year, maybe something a little more pratical. And he has a big birthday # coming up.. so I think I surprised him with something good already..

Remember the wider the circle the more you FEEL like you have to do around the holidays for people.. Making memories and taking pictures and then filling a memory book is just as wonderful!

Let's remember all our blessings.. as we go into November..

B-Be Present

L-Let the day flow with grace

E-Expect joy. Be positive

S-Serve with compassion

S-Speak only kindess

I-Impart only love

N-Never forget you are not alone

G-Give thanks for everything

S-See goodness in others!

And on top of that.. Be KIND.. it's a very difficult time of year for alot of people..and there are people suffering!! You never know what someone else is going through!

Happy November!
