I had pre-ordered The Budget Mom Paycheck workbook back on September 15th, and I got it in last night (one day earlier!). But with a busy Thursday, I didn't know if I was even going to look at it, never mind open it up (doing a video..check out youtube.. I'll link at the bottom) or even nearly mess up January 3 different times (i wrote in the dates wrong twice & then finally just covered it up with number stickers.. patience Pattie.. you don't have to do it all at once!).
Anyway, I'm excited .. I'll wait until January to start this actual workbook.. because I have my others set up until then.. and that allows me to tweak and almost (because really nothing is perfect) perfect the new book. Time for me to start thinking about our financial goals for 2021. Alot financially has happened in 2020 while following this #tbm #thebudgetmom Method. I really want to encourage everyone, young and old to start on their financial freedom.
Look at this week.. honestly, I got my hair done (at $75), bought some perfume (at $62), I never do those things for me.. but I was needing it... and although it puts my weekly check off a little bit, I'm just going to be careful with how we spend until next week.. I had the money in my 'week's' budget.. This week is a EAT from PANTRY & FREEZER week.. no Grocery Haul for us! We need to do this at least 1-2 weeks a month.. wayyy too much food in the house.. eat what we have! But, I still put that $60/week grocery money in my envelope - that keeps my budgets accountable as well.
Anyway.. I'm excited about the new stuff.. I got her pens, a filofax wallet with the #tbm logo, a few new envelopes and trackers & I'm asking my husband for the 'box set' for Christmas.
