ME-Selfcare.

Me - I'm 50ish, a Mom and Wife - which come huge responsibilities if you are one, you know! Worry wart.. who would've thought I'd be a worry wart Mom. :( Ugh it's my downfall of being a Mom. I worry that my daughter is happy, I worry that she isn't get sick, I worry that she is in a classroom that fits her needs.. I worry about what she is learning. Ugh.. worry wart & hey, I gave myself a step up from 'helicopter mom' :)

I purchased a Happy Planner in January to 'journal' in and layout my stickers and I never used it.. or haven't yet.. so here I am in February.. putting it to good use. I do one for Grace.. memories for her to look back on in the future. Journaling, planning, stickers it's all part of self-care, as for me it's relaxing... and ladies, at some point in our very busy days we need to take care of ourselves.

I have three wonderful friends, that I speak to on a daily/weekly basis. We solve life's world problems and laugh! One became alot closer to me in the past year.. which shows me that you are never to old to become a good friend or seek one. I guess I was looking for one.. the other has been a long time friend since the early 1990's and lives in a different state..

And lastly, is a great friend I met at my last job.. I love all my friends.. especially the ones that you don't talk to for a couple of weeks but then get to check on each other & know that everything is going to be alright.

Life is good.. January was a good month for budgeting.. we were overbudget in groceries, but who wasn't.. the thing is we have a lot of food in freezer/pantry..so look like that's a challenge in February.. we need to start there.

I don't know where the time goes.. I'm up at 5:00am and it's already 6:45 :( which means my Mom duties kick in and my self-care stops.. (for now). Max, our dog needs to be woken up, need to get Grace's backpack and meds ready, need to send the email to school saying Grace had a great night... okay, I really gotta go..

Welcome to February.. self-care is necessary for our sanity & to allow us to be all that we are to our family & friends... don't forget about YOU!

love you!
