HI. I like to update you all on Grace! She was Amazing in May.. (not that she isn't in any other month!) But as you have already read, we celebrated the beginning of the month we are usual Holy Ghost Tradition in our home. Grace was awesome walking down the church aisle in her walker and then at the end of mass, getting crowned.
We then had a bout of Covid for about 10 days, that was really hard! Just the entertain Grace 24x10 was difficult; but the second week we could have someone over to help (they masked it up) and by praying & saying "this too shall pass"; it did. Sometimes our mind plays tricks on us, I certainly don't wish the days away but that was a tough week and half.
Grace has been eating like crazy this month and more than just chips! She has been loving Cup O'Noodles; even today she had them (and it's close to 75 degrees out). She has even been taking some to school. She loves it and chews them so good. We are just grateful that she found something other than BBQ Chips so much. She can eat all the cup o' noodles she wants. She also eats whatever we are having for dinner, but May was a time when she really has started to just eat alot.
End of May (Memorial Day, 5/30) and it's warm out (finally!) and we have added another person to our summer tribe (thankful!). She is entering her Senior Year in nursing in September and will be able to work with us throughout the summer. Grace is already loving her and so are we! It's all about the good crew sometimes and sometimes it's so hard to find people who don't want to be on their phone all day.
We went to a Memorial Day parade and ofc Grace loved the band playing! Mid way she got the hang of waving at everyone.. it was sooo cute!! Really cute.. she would clap as veterans marched by as well, watching me.
Surf season starts in June! Can't wait! She's so strong and tall this year.. think she'll be doing great.
