I've been waiting about 3 months (or so it seems like that long) for a new injection pen, wegovy! Wegovy is a GLP-1 weight loss injection pen. I'm ready - I've been watching people like The "downsized" on youtube and a few doctors on getting my mind set to doing this! I did well on trulicity but that's specifically a diabetic injection and I'm not diabetic (the doctor's were handing trulicity out like water so they got slapped on the wrist and people who are not diabetic (like me) need to go on a weight loss med not a diabetic med!

I've been journaling and reading and just got Mel Robbins book, "Let them".. I started reading it last night & eager to dive into it later too!

My goal with this new health journey is more protein less carbs! I ate tootsie rolls yesterday - my new thing.. a few here & there aren't going to hurt..but my concentration is to log through fitness pal, drink more water, stay on top of the constipation (that can be killer!) & eat more protein (shooting for 100g a day!).

I got this! I'm excited and putting my mental and physical health as one of my top priorities in 2025.

Oh yea & I'm running for my local School Committee this year & my signed nomination papers are heading in today!

Thanks for being here!
