I have a saying, "If GOD wanted me to have patience he would've made me a doctor". I do not have patience. I know some would differ as they say I have patience with my daughter, Grace. But today I have NONE. Zip. Zero!

I'm trying during these times to appreciate patience on a daily basis..but this morning, Grace was having a meltdown because of her belly hurting (we fixed that with an enema)-how many of you "typical" parents have to deal with enema's and BM's on a daily basis with your "typical" kids?? I warned you I have no patience today.

I have a very good friend who's Mom is dying. She was just put on hospice as of yesterday. It made me so sad in the shower as I thought of my friend and her family going through such sadness. I have buried both my Mom & Dad - I have no one (meaning a parent/grandparent) and usually I'm okay with that thought, but today.. it made me very sad just thinking about it.

Move ahead to about ten minutes ago.. I'm working on a new budget tracker because H just got paid & this second check of his is a big one that most of his business expenses come out of & he turns to me and says "I gotta pay this, I gotta pay that".. Buddy - I've been doing this since October, you just can't ADD in a bill to pay without taking it from somewhere else... I got frustrated. (cue "No Patience Pattie) So, maybe he gets $50 this week vs. $100 and that extra $50 goes to pay what he wants to add to this week's 'budget'..

Arghhh... The sun is out, at least.. I see a walk in my future... perhaps breathing in some warm fresh air with help me gain a little bit of patience today!
