I did a thing - I ran for an elected seat on the Board of Health on our local Town Election that was yesterday, June 8, 2020! In 2016, I tried for a seat on the Selectboard.. although both were unsuccessful, I entered with good intentions & I stayed true to my word - a positive attitude and in the process have learned more about myself.

I'm not a 'politcian'.. actually I'm honest (not saying that all politicians are not honest, I've seen quite a few town politicians that are !); however I run for good intentions, I have no hidden agendas (some may differ with me). I really just want people to be treated with respect. There should never be a 'fear' of going to work everyday, waiting for the shoe to drop - life is difficult sometimes on its own and to be fear of doing your job or walking on eggshells - it's time to move on (not for me.. because let's face it.. I've been through alot in my 50 ish years of life, more so in the last 9, and ain't (i know it's not a word) knowing going to rattle my cage!

Good luck to those that did get it.. please don't make it about your own 'power trip'.. you should be about what's best for the Town we live in!

My GIF is from MY favorite movie!! :)
