Let's talk #glp1 - I'm on my 2nd dose of zepbound; my1st shot was Friday May 30th And this is what I ate in my first week:

Breakfasts - consists of brussel sprouts, a soft egg and bacon (I like the pre-cooked that you just have to warm up!). I am loving brussel sprouts with a yolky egg - it tastes delishes and I usually have this combination on a Saturday or Sunday morning!

Lunches - Taco bowls - just ground beef, tomatoes & lettuce (this week I added the cottage cheese for extra protein).. Tip: Meal prep Sundays - brown 1 lb ground hamburg, add your favorite spices & voila'-easy to add to different, and easy lunches!

I am getting into the rabbit hole of different cottage cheese bowls, check out pinterest for so many lovely recipes.

Dinners - I started in 2025 committing to make a new recipe weekly, and now with my WL journey/efforts it's really cool to look at pinterest for a high protein receipe. But I do like a light dinner - and usually a big salad with some protein is good enough.

Issues: Had BM issues before the shot, but today I feel extra bloated. Anyone have trouble drinking seltzer and feeling bloated?? I kinda feel that might be an issue.. so I'm trying to stick to just crystal lemonade tea in plain water, but I do like the flavored seltzer 1x a day!

Desserts - Got my Ninja Creami in the last 2 weeks & LOVING it!!!

My hope for this next week, week 2 on Zep:

Tracking in Carb Manager & a BM please :)

Feeling powerless.. @3:00 a.m.

I'll start by saying I know that WE were chosen to be Grace's parents; it has made us stronger, and we've learned a lot from her. When she was little, she was in the hospital frequently for infection
