Hey there.. I can't remember when I did a Grace update, so I figured today was a great day to do it! She is at a great age and maturity level..like most parents, it's hard to believe how fast time goes; but it's great to see her coming into her own as well!
In the last month, as a family we are trying to do a family dinner one time a week, 'out to dinner'. We've gone to Papa Gino's for pizza and a family, casual italian restaurant last week. Along with every other week, Grace joins us for a Rotary meeting. She absolutely loves the commarady of getting out, seeing people & talks about going out to eat! At Rotary, she is one of us and is eager to see everyone, and makes sure she fists bumps everyone when we leave. (And sitting for awhile during a 'meeting', she eats her chips that I bring and then joins in for dinner..). I'm so proud how far she has come..brings a tear to my eyes! (okay, LOTS of tears!)
The other day, I was downstairs doing laundry and she was scooting on the floor behind me..calling my name and making noise for me to turn around..finally when I did, she was holding up clothes for me to help with the laundry! :)
Then another day recently (picture!), I left her upstairs while I ran downstairs to change out the laundry (it is never ending!) and came back to her using her ipad to play piano on an app. So freakin awesome! (I guess I'm rubbing off.. i took piano lessons).
She is growing like a weed. She's eating great.. we are moving in a positive direction with eating. She is doing great in school.. always pleasant and loves to meet new people, new staff.
The way Grace came into this world was a sign that she was meant for greater things.. and she has really done so well.. I'm so proud of my little 1lb 13 oz baby.. "Small but mighty!"
Thanks for keeping up with us! Our family is everything!
