With a new year, my focus is ME! Okay, me and my family.. keeping my mini goals in my mind..
Steps: I'm tracking how many times I wear my apple watch and how many steps I take (January wasn't a good start with even 'wearing' it, so I need to do better in February).
Eating: I'm cautious of what I put in my mouth and meal plan to coordinate that better. I've always been a good meal planner as it ties in with my budget goals not to exceed a monthly budgeted dollar amount, so meal planning in January went well. I don't like eating a big dinner, if any at all.. but I am a believer small meals vs. no meals will help me feel better and get that desired weight loss; so I definitely need to meal plan a little better for the week prior in February.
Books: I read a Jade Warsaw (a Dave Ramsey personality) book, about half of it - it was a no nonsense financial book, a quick and easy read. (I need to write my own :) and I also read a fellow youtuber book, Leroy about his experiences in prison and working toward his financial goals - definitely a quick and easy read. I also joined a silent book club and the first meeting is in February.. might go to just sit still and be able to read :) (2024 goal: 1 book a month; 13 a year!)
Relationship with Grace: I'm growing my mother/daughter relationship with Grace. I love hanging out with her and taking her out as 'one of the girls'. She came with me to a after-holiday girl event and had fun. It's nice to be in a place with my daughter as she gets older and we create that mom/daughter connection!
I am done with school as you all know, so I do find myself 'bored' sometimes with not having to do homework every morning and then every night. But I picked up another town of minutes..so I am just staying busy.. and filling that morning and pm time with decluttering :)
