You've come a long way, baby! And I couldn't be prouder.. (except having her brother around to stick his tongue out as much as she does!), I wouldn't have it any other way..because Grace, you are the child who made me a MOM & who I am today!
Happy Birthday to Grace! Happy Heavenly Birthday to Max! I was up early today.. I always feel nervous, anxiety a little bit on Grace's birthday as I think back on this day eleven years ago. The love, the loss.. it was the best and worse experience of my life. (I had a natural birth and a c-section all in the same hour!)
From 1 lb 12 oz, to maybe 45 lbs today.. (i'll double check that this am). From mostly g-tube feeds.. to EATING by mouth at least twice a day.. this summer has really put her over the edge with eating.. chips, (bbq is her favorite), cup o'noodles, ground hamburg, black beans.. sausage.. savory vs. sweet - Grace is eating up a storm! We couldn't be happier.. maybe there will be a day where we can get her gtube out!
Her infectious laugh and smile..can brighten the worse days..
