It'll be a week tomorrow that we've had Max. Max is a 9 week old puppy - yes, maybe we are crazy! He is 85% poodle, 15% golden retriever for a "goldendoodle, f1bb" (i have to write it to make sure I'm saying it correctly!). He is mild mannered, until he's not listening.. (all puppies are like children right?).. no really, he is a very relaxed puppy.. he likes his treats (& can sit down when asked to, so I guess he does listen sometimes. :)

We had been debating for awhile to get a dog. I grew up having dogs, my husband wanted one when he was 10 and his mom said no. We also thought a puppy would grow with Grace and she's used to a therapy dog at school for a school friend, that it would be good 'therapy' for Grace as the puppy gets older and for her as well. Goldendoodles are very trainable from what I understand and can be trained as a therapy dog for Grace. We shall see.. I'm sure like everything else, having a puppy is alot of work!

I get the morning business.. feed, walk, play.. but I also have to feed Grace in the am.. soo yea, I'm still figuring this all out. I think it's time my husband, Gary gets the night feed with Grace! And I'm in bed by 9:30! Thank God I decided to cancel that Marketing class.. oh my! Work has been stressed and with my new morning friend.. that was the time I would catch up on everything..

Well to be honest, it's wonderful to have a dog.. it's good excercise for me (getting alot more steps in).. and it's great to see Grace's face around Max... (maybe her twin brother channeling in).

Here's a wonderful first picture of Grace & Max in the car together!
